In our ever changing world one of the scarce things is a constant, something that is always the same regardless of the circumstances. Our family can change, friends change in an instant, people can one day be around and gone the next moment. Technology thats change on a whole new level, one moment you have the latest phone the next its obsolete.
In such a dynamic world the struggle is holding on to the things in our lives that dont change. After a lot of thought and consideration I came to the conclusion that only one thing in this world stays the same and that is God.
“if we are faithless, he remains faithful- for he cannot deny himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13″
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever” isaiah 40:8″
God is not human that he should lie, not a human being that he should change his mind. Does he speak and not act it? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19
Everything that the Lord has spoken will come to pass, look at the story of moses or the promise he made Abraham or Noah or the promise he made to bring a savior. He keeps his word, he is trustworthy and constant.
When Jesus ascended to heaven he said he is coming back to take us all who belive, where there will be a new heaven and new earth where God will dwell with his people. But woe to those who have not believed and trusted in the constant God, what he said about hell is as true as what he said about heaven. “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murders, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars- they will be consigned in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. ” Revelation 21:8.
Dear friends, I leave you with this thought, what ground are you standing on today? Have you put your trust in the constant and trustworthy God?

“When we believed, you were faithful to save us
And that means you will be faithful to change us And the Spirit of Jesus will keep us till you make us Holy and blameless From the things you say you don’t budge
You’re faithful to save you’re faithful to judge
The God we can trust is not one of usThe faithful God is the one we can trust
We can’t trust us on you we relyEverything we need Lord you will supply
Even when we’re faithless, you remain faithfulYou cannot deny yourself” – shai linne (fauthful God)
